All our departure marinas and charter companies we use have gained SAFE TRAVEL stamps which means they have implemented health and hygiene protocols that are aligned with WTTC’s Global Safe Travels Protocols.
SailWeek has worked really hard to create our own health protocols:
- All our staff members have been trained to adhere to strict Health & Safety procedures.
- Check-in will be conducted outdoors in a specially designated check-in area to reduce guest congestion.
- Social distancing measures will be in place, as directed by government guidelines.
- All our boats will be thoroughly cleaned daily, as well as a final cleaning and disinfection process prior to guest arrival.
- Hand sanitiser will be available on all boats and is required to be used whenever boarding.
All SailWeek staff including skippers, hostess, guest managers, videographers and management will have Digital Green Certificate. The Digital Green Certificate is a proof that a person has been vaccinated against COVID-19, received a negative test result or recovered from COVID-19.
Yes. All changes within the 2021 season are free. Subject to availability and covering the difference in price (if any). Guests are allowed to change the date once and It has to be done at least 45 days before the departure date.
You will have up to 45 days before your trip to decide if you want to pick a new date in 2021 or postpone and transfer the amount paid towards a travel credit. Don’t stress, there is no rush to use the credit straight away. Your credit will last two years and can be used in any of the 2022 and 2023 summer seasons.
If your week is cancelled by SailWeek, you will be notified immediately, no later than 30 days prior to your departure date and you will receive a full refund. All bookings are insured.
If the festival is cancelled by event organisers guests are entitled to switch to Party Route (route is same or similar), or get their 2nd and 3rd installment back. The 1st installment is switched to travel credit.
Ticket price is refunded only if the full amount for the trip was paid.
The situation with COVID-19 is changing on a daily basis. If there is a travel ban, border closure or advice against all but essential travel in the destination country and we have no choice but to cancel the trip, we will contact you no later than 30 days prior to your departure date.
Also we suggest you get in touch with your insurers to confirm if they can help cover any other costs you may have incurred as a result of this.
You have the following three options for spot bookings:
- Change your SailWeek to a later date this summer for free. This of course is subject to availability and paying difference in price (if any).
- Postpone and transfer the amount paid to Travel Credit. It will be valid for 2 years, in seasons 2022 and 2023. Latest to do that is 45 days before the trip.
- If you cancel, the terms set out in our Terms & Conditions will apply. We recommend not to cancel, instead to postpone, this will mean you have a holiday to look forward to in the future.
You can postpone or change the date of your booking once as long as it is done 45 days prior the trip.
- In case you want to switch to another date it can only be done with the same boat, after we check the availability and the price of the boat for the date wanted. If that boat is not available we will suggest a similar yacht dependent on availability.
- In case you want to postpone for the next season, you can get a travel credit in the amount paid.
- In case you want to switch to another (different) yacht, your first installment (10%) is considered as a cancellation fee. Second installment will be used for the new booking deposit payment and it will be non-refundable or considered as travel credit in case of postponement later on.
If you want to postpone the trip for another date or change the boat please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
All the changes on your booking are considered from the date you made your initial booking.
All travel credits are transferable.
Anyone with the travel credit from 2020 or 2021 can transfer it to someone else free of charge.
Travel credit can only be transferred to people who don’t have a booking with SailWeek.
Please contact us at email@example.com with the name, surname and email address of the person you would like to transfer your credit to.

This Travel Credit will last 2 seasons and can be transferred to someone else free of charge.
Possible isolation or taking a PCR test upon coming home to avoid mandatory isolation is not one of the reasons to postpone or change the date within 45 days prior to the trip.
If you test positive on Covid-19 and cannot board the plane you should inform us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In that case please send us the proof of the positive test* not older than 48 hours and
We will grant you travel credit in the full amount that can be used in seasons 2022 or 2023
