Fly into Athens (ATH)
The airport in Athens is the closest and most convenient airport to our departure marina in Alimos (Athens) where we start our Sailweek Greece.
ALIMOS MARINA
The Marina is located South West of Athens, 15 Km from the city center, 8 Km South of Piraeus port and 30 km from El. Venizelos International Airport. It is served by a dense transportation network of Trams, Buses and Taxis, with stations 500 meters from the Marina.

- TAXI: When you exit Athens airport there are numerous number of yellow taxis. One way price from the Airport to the Alimos Marina is around 45-50 € and fits 4 persons. The journey takes around 40 minutes.
- UBER: Uber cars fit 1-3 persons and approximately cost around 30-40 € from the Airport to the Alimos Marina.
- BUS: Buses depart every 15-30 minutes from the airport bus stop. Take the X96 bus to Alimos Marina. Please check the timetable here. Make sure you alight at the EDEM bus stop which is 5 minutes walk from the marina. The bus ride takes around 90 minutes and costs 6€ per person
- METRO: Take the Metro from the airport to Syntagma Square. From there change to the Tram Line to Alimos Marina (EDEM Stop). The Metro runs every 30 minutes. The journey takes around 60 minutes and costs around 10€ per person.
