Split Payments Are Here: Book Sailweek Together, Pay Your Share
The group chat finally picked a week. Now who’s volunteering to chase five mates for bank transfers? Yeah, thought so.
Sailweek split payments are here. On eligible bookings, one person locks in the trip and sends out the invites. Everyone can see what they owe and pay Sailweek directly. Whoever booked gets to go back to arguing about the boat playlist.
How do Sailweek split payments work?
The head booker is the person who makes the booking. They still pay the full first instalment to lock in the trip. After that, your crew can pay their shares straight to Sailweek, saving the head booker from collecting everyone’s transfers and matching them up.
- Tick the box. On the Payment step, select “I want to split the payment” when it appears.
- Lock in your week. The head booker pays the full first instalment to confirm the booking.
- Invite your crew. In My Account, the head booker assigns shares and sends each payer an email invite.
- Pay your share. Use the email link to sign in or create an account, see what you owe and pay by the dates shown in My Account.

Which Sailweek group bookings can use split payments?
Split payments are available on eligible new online bookings for two or more spots or a Full Yacht. If the option appears at checkout, select it before you confirm. If you’ve already booked without selecting it and still have an instalment to pay, contact us to see if we can split your next payment and send each person their own link. You can’t switch it on yourself in My Account, and bookings already paid in full have no balance to split.
How to split the cost of spots or a Full Yacht
Booking spots? Say you book four spots for you and three friends. Give each friend one spot to pay for and keep one for yourself. If someone is paying for themselves and their partner, assign them two spots.
Booking a Full Yacht? You choose how many equal shares to split the yacht price into. If there are eight of you splitting it evenly, choose eight shares and give everyone one. One person can cover more than one share, and any shares you leave unassigned stay with you as head booker.
The first instalment counts towards the head booker’s share first. If they pay more up front than their total share, the rest of the crew pays the remaining booking balance through My Account and the group settles the difference between themselves.

What should the head booker know?
Everyone can check their own amounts and due dates in My Account. As head booker, you can see who’s paid without scrolling through the group chat for screenshots. You’re still responsible for the whole booking and can cover an outstanding amount if needed. Payments are made manually, and any local payment is separate from the online booking balance.
Ready to get the crew on board?
