Travelling solo does not mean travelling alone
Many Sailweek guests join without a full group. Once you arrive, you are part of a shared yacht crew and a wider route of travellers sailing together. Days are built around swim stops, sailing time, exploring and social moments that make meeting people feel natural.
- Shared yacht life makes introductions easy.
- Skippers, hosts and the Sailweek team help the week feel organised and supported.
- You can be social without needing to plan everything yourself.
How solo booking works
01
Choose your route
Pick the Sailweek route that suits your travel style, from social Croatia sailing to Greece island hopping.
02
Book a single spot
Reserve one place on a shared yacht. You do not need to fill a full yacht or organise a group.
03
We help place you with a crew
The team builds yacht crews by looking at bookings, age, gender balance, nationalities and yacht layouts where possible.
04
Arrive and meet everyone
At check-in, you meet your skipper, yacht crew and the wider Sailweek group before the route begins.
A shared cabin. A whole yacht to enjoy.

Example shared cabin
Who will I share a cabin with?
Solo travellers share a cabin with another guest. Where possible, we aim to place solo travellers in a bunk-bed cabin with someone of the same gender and a similar age.
However, bunk cabins are limited and cannot be guaranteed. Depending on the yacht layout, availability and guest mix, you may instead share a double-bed cabin.
If the gender balance for a particular week makes same-gender matching impossible, you may also be allocated with someone of the opposite gender. We always do our best to create comfortable, well-balanced crews.
- You book one place on a shared yacht.
- Most cabins are shared by two people.
- Crew lists are built closer to departure.
- Nervous about sharing? Ask before booking.
